Bangladesh got their second ODI series defeat at home since July 2015. Bangladesh have played 15 ODI Home series in this time period and won 13 of them. Both the defeats are against MIGHTY ENGLAND. Mirpur is considered as the toughest place to face Bangladesh, but that does not bother England much.
Bangladesh vs England 2nd ODI
England 326/7 (50)
Bangladesh 194 allout (44.4)
A convincing victory for England. The game was always in their favor since they asked to bat first and finished with a score of 326. Sam Curran also destroyed Bangladesh's top order, taking three wickets in his opening spell. He disregarded Rahim, Shanto, and Litton, slowing down the pursuit. Tamim and Shakib from Bangladesh established a partnership, but they played too slowly to ever pose a danger to this chase. Shakib chipped one near mid-off shortly after reaching his fifty, while Tamim holed out in the deep when attempting his first big shot of the day. Adil Rashid stepped up to clean the lower order if Curran had disqualified the top order, capping it off with 4/45 to speed up the conclusion. After 45 overs, Bangladesh was skittled out for just 194, giving England a 132 run victory. Jason Roy struck a century earlier in the day, and Jos Buttler added 76 to help England post that large total and win the series 2-0. For the presentations, hang in there.
